Anne McCombeBloomington, Indiana (August 18, 2016) – The Bloomington Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) announced today that Anne McCombe has been named Project Assistant.

McCombe will assist in carrying out BEDC’s mission of retaining, developing and attracting quality jobs in Monroe County.

McCombe is a graduate student at IU in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs earning her degree in Arts Administration. She will graduate in December and will work part time as the Project Assistant for the BEDC. McCombe has a history of involvement in local economic development with regards to arts and entertainment, most recently as the Economic Development Assistant for the Arts & Entertainment Commission in Nashville, Indiana. She has been a member of the Bloomington community for six years.

As the BEDC continues to grow and expand their programs, McCombe will be a valuable asset in the implementation of projects and programs related to the Bloomington Technology Partnership, Bloomington Life Sciences Partnership, and B-Start.
