QUALITY OF PLACE SURVEY

Bloomington, Ind. – The Bloomington Economic Development Corporation and Community Foundation of Bloomington & Monroe County announced today that they jointly received a $50,000 planning grant from Regional Opportunity Initiatives (ROI). This money will be used to develop a Quality of Place and Workforce Attraction Plan for Monroe County. The plan will detail how the county can improve quality of life, attract and retain top talent for our workforce and attract new businesses and investment to the region.

PRESIDENT SEARCH

The BEDC is searching for the next President of our organization.  The President of the BEDC is responsible for the BEDC’s consistent achievement of its mission and daily operations. The President leads the organization as to new initiatives and strategies in economic development. The President reports to the BEDC Board of Directors and specifically to the Chair of the Board and the BEDC Executive Committee. The requirements include at least two years of economic development experience.
